RIYADH, Oct. 31, 2000 Al Yamama had to survive an early shock but
finally overpowered fighting Cavaliers to win narrowly by 44-42 thus improving their
chances for the Division III title in the Fall Season 2000 Nike Riyadh Team Tennis League
(RTTL).
For the victors, P. Casey beat R. Rodriguez 8-5 in an important match. However, their pair
J. Smith and M. Hauser lost to B. De Leon and J. Gumaru 7-8. Wrapping up the proceedings,
P. Casey and K. Moukarzel of Yamama defeated T. Flores and P. Pagulayan 8-3.
In the same division, Tennis Phoebics recorded an easy victory against KFH EAC-1 by 43-37.
A. Roldan emerged winner over C. Esplanada 8-5. In the doubles, Noli Radam and J. Salem
went down to Esplanada and A. Dantes 8-4. However, Phoebics tandem of Roldan and R.
Penaflor beat M. dib and A. Sadawi 8-4 to clinch the victory for their team.

Kingdom. Veteran Farouk El Laithy heads the organizing committee. He is supported by
