Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 1, 2001 - The King Fahad Hospital (KFH) team won an impressive win, this time over the once powerful Diplomatic side by 50-32 score to march on in the race for the top flight crown in the Nike Riyadh Team Tennis League (RTTL) 2001 Spring Season League.
KFH won the three important matches against their rivals. Othman Al Enezi beat Grebots 8-4. Then playing doubles with De Leon down Salim Bitar-Tufenkeji 8-7. In the last doubles, Ebreo-Rodriguez defeated Van Sertima-Ogaick 8-5.
North, South and Central recorded a facile victory over Arab National Bank by 54-39 in the Division II. Of the action here, Drequito beat Al Zahrani 8-7. In an identical fashion, Onias-Pacleb down Talatala-Albes. Hoyumpa-Borjal won over Estares-Agustin in a similar style and in the last of the doubles, Arrastia-Borjal breezed past Ardenio-Agustin by a narrow margin of 8-7.

Division III – KFH OR Rebels beat Kingdom City 51-28 (Koglberger lost to Synders 6-8, Depakakibo-Coronia bt. Barker-Mcfadyen 8-4, Santos-Bagasala bt. Snyders-Graff 8-4).

Division IV – AKMICH beat KAMC / Al Makateb 1 (Esmabe lost to Cayetano 7-8, Cabug-Gorandi bt. Catacutan-Tablizo 8-6, Tamayo-Manzanares bt. Zapires-Alimpaangon 8-6).
