Security Forces Hospital Enjoys Mix Fortune in NIKE RTTL Spring 2001 Tennis League

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 26 – The Security Forces Hospital (SFH) line up eyeing for the Division III crown enjoyed a mix fortune, winning one and losing the second match, in the ongoing Nike Riyadh Team Tennis League (RTTL) 2001 Spring Season League.
SFH beat Kingdom City Hospital (KCH) by 44-34. The latter doubles tandem of Basilio-Minas lost to Kathleen-Snyders by 6-8 but the team recovered to win the crucial match. The pair of Aquilita-Serrano down Algert-Bell 8-7. In the second clash in Division III, Most Tennis squad defeated King Fahad Hospital OR Rebels side by 48-44.
Samain of the winning side lost to Koglberger by 6-8 and then De Leon-Rodriguez also went down to Dela Roza-Yapsangco 8-4. However, eventual victors won the remaining two doubles to collect full points. Their Santiago-Paglinawan beat Sadawi-Bagasla 8-6 and Paglinawan-Sabello won over Dumale-Sanos 8-5.
KFH OR Rebels ended the day with satisfaction as they went on to beat SFH who had earlier won against KCH in the morning by 44-40. In some of the thrilling matches here, Koglberger beat Camara 8-6. Cardinal-Depakakibo lost to Honrado-Arao 5-8 and Bagasala-Rabago overcame Flauta Basilio 8-5.
The event’s main sponsor is Sports Ghornatah, the sole agent of Nike products in the Kingdom, courtesy of their assistant managing director, Abdullah Al Thehaiban and is supported by BISON energy drink, which is supplying the drinks during the course of the tournament.

Division 1: King Fahad Hospital I beat Diplomatic 49-37 (Amara bt Adam Succor 8-0, Ebreo-Ebrada lost to Balint Succor 6-8, Al Rasheed-Schawsmidth lost to Balint-Carillo 7-8, Othman Enezi-De Leon bt Edwin Inganico-Dela Rosa 8-5).

Division 2: North, South and Central beat Al Yamama 51-31 (Cabilangan bt Velasco 8-3, Hoyampa bt Casey 8-5, Cabilangan-Arrastia lost to Velasco-Lucardie 6-8).

Division 4: KFH Al Makateb beat Insurance Hospital / Hakbani 53-33 (Angeles bt Facal 8-6, Lucero-Lorenzo lost to Soriano-Ganseco 5-8, Zapirez-Alimpuangon bt Ame-Somo 8-5). AKMICH beat Vinnel Arabia 50-44 (Nismal bt Bacud 8-5, Esmabe lost to Gamara 6-8, Nismal-Esmabe bt Biag-Reyes 8-7, Cuaresma-Boncalon bt Om-Cruz 8-7).

Division 5: KFH Al Makateb 2 beat Pannesma 45-40 (Bautista lost to Joson 6-8, Nalicat-Farmer bt Shaltaf-Carido 8-5, Castro-Viado bt Adalla-Flores 8-5).
