Honey Chicken Wings (1) |

Ingredients - 1 1/4 cup
ketchup |
1. Place ketchup, white vinegar, molasses, honey, smoke
flavouring,
salt, onion powder and chili powder in a small sauce pan. Stir with a wooden spoon until
well blended. Place over a medium fire and bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer
uncovered for 15-20 minutes. 2. Combine the beaten egg with milk in a bowl. Sieve flour, salt, Chinese salt and pepper in a bowl. 3.Heat oil in a deep fryer to high. Dip each chicken wing first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture and then dip again into the flour mixture. Place the breaded chicken wings in a tray in single layer. 4. Fry the wings for 10-12 minutes or until they are light brown in color. Fry 8-10 wings at a time. Place them on absorbent kitchen pepper for few minutes. 5. Coat the wings well with the sauce. Serve hot. Make 4 servings. |
